Spring Seedlings

While I wait for construction to begin inside, I am eagerly awaiting the last frost so I can get all of the seeds and bulbs I have been hoarding in to the ground.

I have a couple upside down Rubbermaids, one full of zinnias and the other full of herbs.  I like these more than the little green houses you can buy for starting seeds because they are so much taller.  Last year my baby plants grew so fast they busted out of the green house before they were ready to go in the ground!

I have also utilized my collection of cake pedestals as a prettier version of a green house.

And of course, I took advantage of my Prime account to have 200 of the peat pellets and biodegradable pots delivered right to my doorstep.  Buying them in bulk is such a better deal than in any garden store I have seen, and I could honestly use another delivery because growing flowers in addition to the vegetable garden eats them up so quickly.
